More than 400 people braved the snowy weather to enjoy food and wines from the Pacific Northwest and Western United States at the 5th annual Vineyard in the Village on April 23, 2010 at Mr. Biggs Event Center. This year’s event, themed “Wines of the West”, raised more than $95,000 for Cheyenne Village.

Mary Ellen McNally and Patty Gravette chaired the event which featured an “I Love Lucy” style Grape Stomp, a marketplace with a myriad of gift baskets, live music from the Shadow Mountain Band, and silent and live auctions.

The paddle raise by auctioneer “Pistol Pete” Husak garnered nearly $4,500 for Cheyenne Village’s Resident Needs Fund with a generous challenge grant match from the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado.
