We have invited elected officials from our City, County, State and Federal delegations, and we look forward to introducing you to your elected representatives, and facilitating a dialogue about issues of common interest.
For ten years, the Town Hall, which is among the largest and best attended town hall of any sort across Colorado, has resulted in the State’s most consistently informed and supportive legislative delegation. They seek to understand and remain committed to addressing issues and challenges to the fullest expression of independence by people with IDD and their families-who are voters and constituents!
We hope to continue to inform and support our elected officials in staying connected to our community and the issues that are important to people with IDD and their families.Different from years past, we are asking you to provide us with specific questions/topics PRIOR to the Town Hall so that our legislators can focus on these issues and prepare to discuss them. To that purpose, please go to http://www.tre.org/tre-town-hall-meeting/ and offer your thoughts; or, send your questions/topics to Ms. Tammie Engram at either firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 719.785.6425.
Please review the Issues and Impact paper to stimulate your thought process.
We will serve light refreshments, and will be respectful of your time by staying on schedule and adjourning promptly at 8:30 p.m.
Please RSVP to Ms. Engram at The Resource Exchange 719.785.6425 or email@example.com.
